Puppets... is a visiting puppet workshop based company
originating in West Gippsland Victoria Australia.
Our puppet
workshops are hands on and highly interactive, focusing primarily on audience
participation with educational content. Follow-up workshops are
craft and media based and consist of creation of puppets, sets and
filming students own puppet shows.
We offer
a range of themes for Pre and Primary Schools which you can view on
the Themes Pages. Primary School, Secondary College and Youth groups
activities include creating puppet shows and films.
Presentations include a talk and demonstration and provide
opportunities for people to try their hand at using and/or making
puppets. Some materials are supplied. Please feel free to call and discuss
your requirements.
Teacher Workshops are as
above but also include topics such as "Bringing a puppet to life"
and "Great opportunities to teach and learn".
Many of
the puppets and sets used in the workshops are handmade although we
also use plenty of adapted toys, and commercially available puppets.
