Multi sensory learning and fun at Pre-School. |
|
Why children and teachers love these fun, hands-on
workshops.
This
interactive experience brings activities that involve lots of
movement, rhyme and song to facilitate the awareness of key concepts.
The
workshops complement what the children are already learning
in their kindergarten environment
-
watching and listening,
-
gross
and fine motor skills,
-
memory,
-
manipulation,
-
waiting, turn taking and participation
-
creative movement and vocal confidence.
Themes
reinforce information by combining relevant terminology with
repetition and rhyme.
Children
also learn about different types of puppets, and how to bring a
puppet to life.

The Funky Folk, allow children
to feel invisible when they perform some of their favorite
rhymes without feeling like they are on show. |

|
At
Polliwog Puppets... Workshops for Children, your group can

meet
some puppet types and characters
-
perform simple, familiar puppet plays for each other (under
direction)
-
Receive a paper puppet to make at home or kinder
(Please ensure all children wear a name tag.) |

SESSIONS |
Designed to cater for around 25 children and
are approximately one hour in duration.
Set-up and pack up time is 25 minutes each.
The workshops can be performed within the teachers
“group-time” area. |

Although the themes are not the mainstay of the workshops
they offer you a choice so that you can coincide your
Polliwogs Puppets visit with other important events in your
program. |
THEMES |

The
Sea Creatures
theme features a very popular
life-like shark, crab, octopus, seahorse, jellyfish,
dolphins, whales and assorted fish puppets.

Children will love the opportunity to bring these
Dinosaurs
to life. It’s a fun way to take a closer look at dinosaurs
and their characteristics. |
|
|
We
sing and talk about the habitat and characteristics of some
well loved Australian Animals. |
 |
|
|
 |
 The Mini-beasts
theme includes bees, ladybeetles, spiders, wasps, and other
common creatures. We sing and talk about life cycles,
characteristics and weather |
|
|
 |
We take a look at what the animals might
do in the
Zoo and Jungle. |
 |
|
|
Birthday Parties
Your child will be made to feel extra special. We come to your child’s birthday party with
music and a range
of puppets that will have the children delighted & entertained. They all get the chance to be part of a
puppet show while their friends provide an audience and
everyone has the chance to win prizes in the puppetry
games! Includes a gift for the birthday child.
Suits up to 9yrs age groups. |

Workshop
$150.00 per session (less with consecutive same-day
bookings).
Birthday Parties prices
differ to Workshop sessions. Please feel free to ask for a

Finger Puppets are great for 3 year olds as they are easy to use and perfect for many familiar
animal nursery rhymes. |
