Workshop 1 : An Introduction to Puppets

• Short presentation

• Discover how some puppets are made

• Learn how to bring a puppet to life

• Use the puppets from Polliwogs range to perform simple plays as classmates provide and audience

• Enjoy singing and dancing along with the Funky Folk

Workshop 2 : Puppet Making (some materials supplied)

We use fabric, foam, wooden rods, plastic bottles, scissors, tape, glue, knots, string, wool, stuffing, sequins, feathers, recycled materials and imagination to produce a unique, individual character.

Follow-up Workshops

Polliwog Puppets has a huge range of puppets which can be used by the students to produce the puppet shows they have written themselves during class time.

Students may use their own stories or choose a traditional story or "fractured" fairytale from the Polliwog Puppets archives to produce puppet shows.
